Welcome!

So, first post! Hello and welcome to my new sanctuary. An abyss of nice and not nice things. I've wanted to start a real blog for a very long time, but was never really sure if anybody would be interested. I tried tumblr for a while - but found the competition for popularity grating and slightly unnerving - so here I am! A new slate!  I plan to post lots of things here, and hope that you will find these things interesting.

To start off, I guess I should give a run down of what I intend to write and post here!

Obviously - for those of you who know me - there will be a lot of film related posts. Film is a huge part of my life and I think it would be fun to be able to constantly ramble on about it. From reviews, to my own projects, to lists of films I like, to lists of films I don't like. I am gonna cover it all!

I'm also hoping to do a few fashion and music posts too - I hope to address any sort of 'popular culture' medium, and possibly show you guys what I've been finding interesting lately, and some of my favorite 'trends' (See: Anti-Trends!). I will also be posting mixtapes and reviews and all that crap.

Besides all your usual blog-like stuff, I also intend to post lots of interesting articles and art I find, photography and graphic design I've been enjoying, and snippets of poetry and creative writing. I am going to try and keep this place as organized and balanced as possible, with posts of my own creations, to posts of others creations! You can think of it as a massive inspiration blog.
